Zumba on Zoom

Zumba and dance teacher Panja Murugiah runs an online Zumba class every Thursday 11am-12pm and it is now open to U3A Highvale members. The health benefits of Zumba and dancing include:

  • Improved condition of your heart and lungs.
  • Increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness.
  • Improved  muscle tone and strength.
  • Increased aerobic fitness.
  • Better coordination agility and flexibility.
  • Stronger bones and reduced risk of osteoporosis.
  • Weight management.

This well-being course is facilitated by Hooi Ng (a committee member) via WhatsApp, through which Zoom links and updates are communicated.  When you join the course, you implicitly agree to be part of the Zumba WhatsApp group.
